WHY DO WE COLLECT THIS DATA?

QOSS collects and processes these personal data, which are provided by the visitor/customer upon entering into the agreement, consent or legitimate interest.

Providing these personal data for the purpose of a purchase is mandatory and a necessary condition for entering into an agreement with QOSS. If these data are not provided, QOSS may not be able to fulfil its obligations under your agreement or to enable you to fulfil your own obligations.

Storage terms

Your data will be kept for seven years after you have made a purchase for analysis purposes and for commercial purposes such as suggestions for repeat purchases.

Provision to third parties

QOSS will in certain cases, if necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement, pass on personal data to third parties.

Purchase agreement:

  • Mail order company, for the delivery of your order;

When the product is purchased online also:

  • Hosting party of the website including the developer;
  • Payment provider, to take care of payments and refunds;

Furthermore, we will not provide the data you provided to other parties if you have not given us permission to do so, unless this is legally required or permitted. For example, it is possible that the police request information from us in the context of a fraud investigation. In that case, we are legally obliged to hand over these data.

In principle, QOSS does not pass on personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area or to international organisations, unless this is necessary for the performance of the purchase agreement. 

Profiling

We combine your personal data from various sources in order to provide you with the best online shopping experience. We do this by linking various pieces of information about you, such as your account information and your purchase history.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

QOSS attaches great importance to the security of personal data. We are also obliged by law to ensure that your personal data are properly secured. For this reason, we have taken - among other things and where appropriate - the following suitable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data:

  • Personal data are encrypted and pseudonymised;
  • Use of a good password policy;
  • Setting up authorisations;
  • Personal data will be stored on servers with adequate security at suppliers with which QOSS has concluded a processing agreement;

QOSS makes use of certified SSL connections (the Secure Socket Layer - Protocol) for the website during the ordering process and all contact forms.
